Meet the locals!

Our feathered friends

Once you have settled in, Malcolm and Margaret will do whatever they can to make your stay as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

The farmhouse kitchen is always a hive of activity producing fresh food including daily breakfast and evening meals.

Take a leisurely walk around the gardens and meet the rare breed ducks and hens.

The Araucana Chickens originate from South America and are named after the Araucano tribe of Native South Americans.  All the birds are laying well and the Araucana eggs are a vibrant blue in colour - enjoy them with your breakfast!

Say hello to our friendly Saxony Ducks! These are a French breed and are renowned for laying lots of very large eggs which are great for baking.  Donald the drake has a dark breast and the girls (Daisy, Daphne and Gemima Puddle Duck) are a creamy coffee brown colour.
